Eric Harvey: Colwyn Bay man denies trying to murder his brother

The 41-year-old was arrested after allegedly stabbing his 43-year-old brother Mark at their home

A man has pleaded not guilty to attempting to murder his own brother.

Eric James Harvey, 41, is accused of trying to kill Mark Richard Harvey on May 6.

He was arrested after allegedly stabbing his 43-year-old sibling at the property where they both lived in St Andrew’s Road, Upper Colwyn Bay.

At a plea and case management hearing at Mold Crown Court he entered a not guilty plea.

Judge Rhys Rowlands said the trial had already been fixed for a date in October and said that he would be the trial judge.

The defendant was remanded in custody.
