Man admits sex crimes on boy, 14

| A 64-year-old Cornish man has admitted sexual assaults on a boy dating back to the early 1980s.Trevor Roberts, of Tolvaddon near Camborne, was known as "Uncle Trevor", but was not a relative of the victim, magistrates in Llandudno heard. The boy, aged 14 at the time, was in bed asleep at his Colwyn Bay home when the assaults occurred and has recently revealed the ordeal. Roberts admitted gross indecency and indecent assault. The widower was jailed in 1971 for three years for sexual offences and sentenced in 1975 to six months imprisonment for indecent assault. On Wednesday he asked for two offences to be considered and was bailed for sentencing at Caernarfon Crown Court next month. | ||
