Mr Murray, a steel fixer from the town who was engaged to be married, died at Glan Clwyd Hospital. The judge at Caernarfon Crown Court said imprisonment was inevitable but adjourned sentencing until February. Gossop was remanded in custody. The prosecution and defence cases were not outlined at the hearing. Mr Murray died in the intensive care unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital in November. He had been assaulted the previous evening. At the time of his death, his family revealed that he had been planning to marry his fiancée Gaynor in 2005. The statement said: "Lennie was close to his family and had three sisters, one of whom was his twin. He also had a teenage daughter." |
