Arrests have been made after Chinese nationals were found hidden in a caravan on a ferry which had arrived at an Essex port.
The UK Border Agency said it searched the caravan when it arrived at Harwich from the Hook of Holland on Thursday.
Two men and a woman, all in their 30s, were inside separate storage boxes. They were put on a ferry to mainland Europe, the Border Agency said.
Three people in a van towing the caravan were arrested and bailed.
They were questioned on suspicion of facilitation offences.
They are the 35-year-old man driving the van and his two women passengers, aged 20 and 22.
All three are from Colwyn Bay in Wales and have been bailed until January.
