Colwyn Bay attempted murder charge

A man was due to appear bfore Llandudno Magistrates today charged with attempted murder following an incident late on Tuesday night in St Andrews Road, Colwyn Bay.
A 43-year-old local man sustained knife wounds and is in hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries and 41-year-old Eric James Harvey, also local, was charged with attempted murder.
Senior Investigating Officer DCI Gareth Evans at St Asaph CID said " I would like to reassure the public that this is an isolated incident which did not occur in a public place. Crimes of this nature are extremely rare in our area. Despite charging an individual with attempt murder our enquiries are still very much on going. I would like to appeal to anyone in the community who feels they have any information which may assist with these enquiries to contact Police on 101."
