UPDATE: Fire breaks out at Colwyn Bay Shopping Centre

FIREFIGHTERS were called to Colwyn Bay Shopping Centre after after a car was on fire in the underground car park.
The incident was called in at 1.36pm from the Bay View Shopping Centre, and as of 1.57pm the one crew from Colwyn Bay were still there trying to put out the blaze.
Everybody in the building was evacuated at 1.45pm as it was reported that gas cyclinders were near the scene of the fire, and it is yet unclear whether or not anybody was hurt in the incident.
Ken Evans, owner of the Ford C-Max car and a Colwyn Bay resident, said: "I came back from doing my shopping, sat in the car, turned on the radio and the car started to smoke.

"I then quickly jumped out of the car and went looking for help. It was shocking as it is not an old car."
The full extent of the damage is not yet known as the incident is "is still ongoing" according to a North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
